The second conference of Library &Information Science department-Alexandria University ,titled: " Creativity in LIS education"

Under the patronage of Prof.Dr.Essam Al-Kurdi, the President of  AlexandriaUniversity, and under the chairmanship and supervision of Prof.Dr. Ghada Abdel Moneim Mousa, Dean of Faculty of Arts,and Prof. Dr.MaysaMahrousMahran, head of  LIS department, and  in cooperation with the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, we are pleased to announce the second conference of LIS department in 3-4 October 2018, entitled:

Creativity in teaching librarianship, information and documentation sciences

Under the slogan:

 Together to make LIS education a higher order education!

Objective:

Professor's profession in the present era has become a mixture of tasksleaders, project managers, critics, and instructors, and this conference aims to help the faculty members and their assistants to teach LIS students in a creative way to achieve the desired educational goalsin more effective ways.

Vision:

The development of the profession through graduating of human cadres happy, confident, proud of its specialization, and possess the knowledge and skills of high-level thinking, and experiences suited to the needs of users of twenty-first century libraries.
